OPEN BOX
Gli OPEN BOX sono una nuova serie di lavori, che vanno ad approfondire ulteriormente il concetto “Caos Caso Cosa?”
La mia ricerca in questo caso punta all’essenza del momento creativo .
Il risultato di questi lavori, rivela un contenuto estetico di forme e colori inatteso, spontaneo di matrice gestuale incontrollata.
Gli OPEN BOX sono scatole aperte .
All’interno dei BOX uno scoppio di colori fa si che ci sia una combinazione di tinte, forme e segni su un fondo generalmente monocromo.
Il punto di partenza verso questo ciclo di opere è stata la voglia di colore e la necessità di ridurre al minimo l’intervento fisico, lasciando una traccia il più possibile anarchica e spontanea! Una sorta di mappa stellata, una costellazione di schizzi casuali.

Appare a noi una lotta interna tra colori che primeggiano per impossessarsi dello spazio, della superficie, spinti da una forza esplosiva destinata ad un’espansione infinita.
La dinamica della folle corsa del colore, che si strazia, separa, cerca di prevalere smembrandosi, polverizzandosi ci appare evidente in tutta la sua potenza. Rivelare il Big Bang generato nei BOX rende visibile ciò che visibile non è…“l’energia”. Risistemando le sei tele secondo una mia logica propongo il percorso segnico che vedo più espressivo .
Concetto e azione! Così in una sorta di gioco intervengo sulle tele, con un po’ di fiato e armato di un punteruolo, faccio esplodere letteralmente il colore; ciò mi diverte e desta sempre meraviglia per il risultato d’insieme ottenuto.
La materia si libera, diventa energia, trasformandosi in una stesura anarchica, incontrollata, assolutamente caotica di segni che testimoniano un accadimento drammatico che evolve in poesia visiva!

OPEN BOX
The OPEN BOX are a new series of works, which further study in deep the concept “Caos Caso Cosa?” (→ Chaos Fate What?) dear to me since some time!
My research points to the essence of art, or at least to how I perceive it in its inflexible and totalitarian aspect.
The result of these works, apparently linked to the performance aspect, reveals an
unexpected aesthetic content of shapes and colors.
OPEN BOXES are literally open boxes that become crosses.
Inside the BOX, a burst of colors results in a combination of shades, shapes and signs
on a generally monochrome background.
The starting point for this cycle of works was the desire for color and the need to minimize
the Artist’s physical intervention, leaving a trace as anarchic and spontaneous as possible!
A sort of star map, a constellation of random splashes.
We see an internal struggle between colors that overcome the space and, the surface,
driven by an explosive force destined for an endless expansion.
The dynamics of the mad rush of colors that smash, separate, try to prevail by
dismembering, pulverizing, appears to us in all its power. Revealing the Big Bang
generated in the BOX makes visible what is normally not visible … “energy”. Rearranging
the six canvases according to my own logic, I propose a path of signs exhibiting it in the
form of a cross. I immediately felt a special feeling since the first Boxes.
A premise must be made: to bring something new into the ART galaxy it is necessary to
combine techniques and styles, offering unusual visual perspectives. And it is by drawing
from the experiences of the Masters of the past and, above all, from their philosophical
thought (which is always the most intriguing aspect when we stand in front of one of their
works), that the Artist manages to have the vision of the Whole, and sometimes it happens
that he himself traces a new path and becomes part of the history.
The combination of two giants of art, Manzoni with his artist’s breath and Pollock with his
action paintings, inspired me to create the OPEN BOXES.
Concept and action! The need to simplify? A return to childhood play by popping balloons?
…may be.
It took a lifetime to Picasso to get closer to childhood painting. To find the simplicity, the
purity of the child, avoiding any doctrines or manners that alter the embryonic creative
thoughts!
So, as in a sort of game, I intervene on the canvases, armed with some inflating breath
and an awl, I literally make the color explode; this always amuses me amazes me for the

overall result obtained.
The essence is freed, it becomes energy, transforming itself into an anarchic, uncontrolled and totally chaotic draft of signs that witness a dramatic event that evolves into visual poetry!
