Quando ci isoliamo dal mondo rumoroso, che noi stessi abbiamo creato
e che permettiamo di riempire ogni momento del giorno, la nostra mente,
sorretta dalla volontà di agire, produce pensiero. Tutti noi, prima di
passare ad azioni concrete, cerchiamo di registrare le intuizioni per
poterle elaborare e farle progredire. Se le nostre ambizioni sono
autentiche, queste prime embrionali intenzioni sono interessanti quanto il
prodotto finito e confezionato.
Per questo motivo ho preso in considerazione i progetti di Caproni per
quest’opera.
● Misura: cm 60 x 85 anno 2026
● Tecnica: ho utilizzato un sottile strato di intonaco come supporto e
vi ho riportato i disegni del mitico Ca 33 e frasi di ammirazione che
D’Annunzio usò nei suoi scritti nel descrivere Caproni e le sue
macchine, coprendo il tutto con cera e pigmenti per poi rivelarli
sciogliendola.
When we isolate ourselves from the noisy world that we have created
and allowed to fill every moment of the day, our mind,
driven by the will to act, produces thought. We all, before
moving on to concrete actions, try to record our insights so that
we can process and advance them. If our ambitions are
authentic, these initial embryonic intentions are as interesting as the
finished and packaged product.
For this reason, I have considered Caproni’s projects for
this work.
● Size: cm 60 x 85 year 2026
● Technique: I used a thin layer of plaster as a support and
transferred the drawings of the legendary Ca 33 along with expressions of admiration that
D’Annunzio used in his writings to describe Caproni and his
machines, covering everything with wax and pigments to then reveal them
by melting it.
