Con quest’opera porto in primo piano due aspetti fondamentali per realizzare i progetti che ci
prefiggiamo, anche quando possono sembrarci improbabili o perfino assurdi — proprio come
accadde nella storia dell’aviazione ai suoi inizi.
Il primo aspetto è la prospettiva, il punto da cui osserviamo il mondo.
Serve un certo distacco dalla realtà per cogliere l’equilibrio delle cose. Guardare il mondo
capovolto, anche sotto un cielo minaccioso, permette di distinguere linee, forme, volumi:
nuove suggestioni che l’occhio registra e trasmette alla mente, aprendo possibilità inattese.
Il secondo aspetto è l’audacia.
L’audacia di spiccare il volo con un semplice aereo di carta, affrontando venti imprevedibili,
perdendo quota per poi risalire, deviando dalla rotta per scoprire nuovi luoghi dove atterrare
e nuovi progetti da far nascere.
L’opera misura 45 × 130 cm ed è realizzata con tecnica mista: colori acrilici, argilla e
materiali vari anno 2026
In this work, I highlight two fundamental aspects for realizing the projects we set for ourselves, even when they may seem improbable or even absurd — just as occurred in the history of aviation during its early days. The first aspect is perspective, the point from which we observe the world. A certain detachment from reality is needed to grasp the balance of things. Viewing the world upside down, even under a threatening sky, allows us to distinguish lines, shapes, volumes: new suggestions that the eye registers and transmits to the mind, opening up unexpected possibilities. The second aspect is audacity. The audacity to take flight with a simple paper airplane, facing unpredictable winds, losing altitude only to rise again, deviating from the course to discover new places to land and new projects to give birth to. The work measures 45 × 130 cm and is created using mixed media: acrylic paints, clay, and various materials in the year 2026.
